>Dear Gurus, > Does anyone make a portable keyboard which would work in the adb >port of my 2300's floppy adapter?
Apple made a pretty small "Apple Keyboard" & "Apple Keyboard II" for a while, the former for the Plus through IIsi/LC, the latter for the LCII until the death of ADB. They were usually found in the education market, but were occasionally sought out by folks like myself who dealt with server installations where the full complement of F-keys and the wad of 10 keys between qwerty & the numerics were a size burden. The "Apple Extended Keyboard" will not fit on a rackmount shelf. Another option is a NeXT ADB keyboard. They were rather small as well as being stylishly black. Plus the NeXT ADB 'puck mouse' is actually a joy to use. The Newton keyboard is serial, and will not work on a Macintosh. --chuck goolsbee geek wrangler, digital.forest inc, bothell, wa <http://www.forest.net> list mom, mac-mgrs mailing list... <http://www.mac-mgrs.org> ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
