How small does it have to be? Among new ADB keyboards, I think the smallest is the DataDesk Lil'Big Board <http://www.datadesktech.com>, which is 15x5.5 in. It's a bit psychedelic-looking. They make another model (TrackBoard?) with the same footprint which has a built-in trackball and detachable numeric keypad. If you can find a used Apple Keyboard II, which came with early Performa models prior to the unloved Apple"Design" Keyboard, it is similarly compact and should be cheap.
Alas, I don't think there's anything that doesn't have a numeric keypad, for ultimate compactness. Adesso makes some but not with ADB. If you can put up with it, DataDesk does make a child-sized narrow-pitch board (LittleFingers) with either a built-in trackball or a numeric keypad, that is just 12.5" wide.
