I've been having trouble with my 2400 and remote access. I think it might
have something to do with grounding - just a guess - I've no knowledge of
how electricity works.

My 2400 connects at first try when plugged into its stock ac adapter and
connected to cdrom.

It also connects quickly if run only on battery.

Here's where the problem lies:
If the computer is on the ac adapter alone - only tethered by the ac adapter
and the modem card & cord - it more often than not takes _many_ tries to
gain remote access.

Could this be a grounding problem? Or might it be the ac adapter? If the
adapter needs replacing would a yoyo adapter be okay with the 2400?

Thanks in advance.
