Scott, I've got a Duo 2300 that probably has as many air miles on it as does
Sydney Ho. It has been lugged thru most of South America, some of Africa and
Asia, with a few visits to Europe tossed in for good measure. The 2400 is a
bit more tempermental (something to do with IBM having built it, IMHO!) but
they still work...and one reason you hear so much in this forum about
rebuilting/upgrading them is that there are really no better units out there
in the same form factor (tho a Sony Vaio/Linux combo tempts me at present.)

You'll get great advice here....it can teach you so much that you will
probably be giving expert advice to newcomers in a few months!
Besides.....look at the number of posts of folks trying to help....where else
would you find such a level of GOOD/HELPFUL comments? Not on any PeeCee
board, that's for sure!

DuoListers Rock. Hang in there...hey, just having Sydney & Brandy on the
list is worth it!

<<grin>>

Andy

(and, Brandy, what does GFYSF mean? What the earlier guess indicated as a 3
word response??)
