Dear All,

I do not know if I'm wrong or lonely but I read some messages in this
list and I found none regarding Duo270C.

So please don't be angry if I'm submitting this to the wrong list.

I have recently been given a Duo 270C that was resting in my office
lockers for a previous employee. No one has any Apple oriented
expertise, and I thought I could use it for mail reading and internet
browsing using its littleness and internal modem. Using either an
Apple Express DAA Modem, or an Apple Modem/Fax and wahtever wire I
used, the Duo keeps reporting "No Tone" message.

Is there something easy I can do to figure out if it's coming from
inside (something unplugged in the case) or from the outside (old and
roken modems) ?

Thank you very much for your attention.

CiaoCiao, ;-)
 Fab
