I've looked through the major fonts in MacOS 8.1 and it doesn't seem to exist. Probably because the Euro didn't exist at the time :)
What you'll probably need to do is go into the Fonts folder on your G3 and pull the various fonts that have it out and copy them to the Fonts folder on the 280. That should give you the current fonts with the Euro.
