Ha -- and I was going to write about my heritage. In our part of the
country, the last thing Bubba ever says is "Hey y'all, watch this!".

Shocking these cells to eek out a little more life, and risking
popping one of those cells is just plain stupid. But then, I doubt
these fellas have spent a whole lot of time working in an ER. The
technique can work on some cells, as was pointed out -- but it's an
inefficient way to restore life to the battery pack. Chuck has the
better idea.

Now Chuck, what I really want to know is where the hell can I get a
1U 19" rack chassis with at least a 200W power supply for under $100?
I've got this pile of iMac carcasses just waiting for a new home and
I'm not about to pay Marathon $400.

PS: don't get your pantyhose in a knot boys.... it's a fun idea to
jolt those cells, but awful awful dumb if you lose an eye or end up
wiping cadmium drool from your tongue as an end result.
