I've found that even the color 280c "feels" faster than the 2300c. I own 
both and I've found myself using the 280c more because there's really 
nothing PPC-only I have to run, and the 280c gets better battery life 
(believe or not I was given a battery I can get ~4 hours out of if I keep 
the brightness at the lowest and the HD spun down. RAM disks are great for 
this.

No matter how much I drool over the IceBook or TiBook, I keep going back to 
my Duo because it does everything I need it to, if I break it it's no 
biggie, and it's still smaller and lighter.

Now, if it could just read floppies internally it would be perfect ;)
