I've found that even the color 280c "feels" faster than the 2300c. I own both and I've found myself using the 280c more because there's really nothing PPC-only I have to run, and the 280c gets better battery life (believe or not I was given a battery I can get ~4 hours out of if I keep the brightness at the lowest and the HD spun down. RAM disks are great for this. No matter how much I drool over the IceBook or TiBook, I keep going back to my Duo because it does everything I need it to, if I break it it's no biggie, and it's still smaller and lighter. Now, if it could just read floppies internally it would be perfect ;) Scott Holder ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net! A listserv for users and fans of Mac subportables.
