Andrew,

Same machine, same problem.

What version numbers for USB extensions? I recently had the IDENTICAL
problem and message. Slumped back into my chair until coming across a
similar machine running a similar card... with different versions of
the bits.

In brief?

Backtracked from v1.4.1 to v1.3.5.

Current version numbers that work (haven't time to sort which are
essential so you're getting the ful list of USB items present - hey
it works for now)...

1.3.5 USB Device Extension
2.0.2 USB Mass Storage Extension
2.0.2 USB Mass Storage Support
1.3.5 USB Software Locator
1.3.5 USB Support
1.0.1 USBHIDUniversalModule
6.4.4 LaCie USB Support
6.4.4 LaCie USB Support 8.6

If you do tinker, and can get a little redundancy figured, do tell.

Hope it helps,
Marc
