I bought one of the new iBooks because it let me have more RAM and a slightly faster processor in a relatively small size. For it to have been a _perfect_ laptop for me, it needed to have a PC card slot. If it had SCSI too, it would be better than perfect (I know that's not possible; either better than perfect or expecting SCSI). So what would I do with the PC slot? Use my adapter for reading my digicam's compact flash card (faster, smaller and cheaper than buying a USB card reader) and connect my PC card external hard drive. It's annoying that my 16 GB drive with PC card interface can't work with the iBook. I'm sure there are others with PC card devices that would love to see that slot on newer laptops. And I have a Duo question. One of my friends has made the move from a 230 to a 2300 and is having problems adjusting to the sensitivity of the trackpad (ha! try a new iBook!). Is there a utility that will "desensitize" the Duo's trackpad so that you don't get a jumping mouse if you aren't real careful about where you position your fingers when typing?
