I have one, and now 2 of these cards. used the first for 2 years the one day it just
would't work anymore. Light came on just as you describe but nothing... I bought a
new one from ebay and worked great. Tried the new cord with the old card also worked
great. The problem was the old chord. I've checked the chord over carefully for any
sign of damage but it looks fine...so one possibility could have been a bad cord...
card works great for me. Good Luck,
