Oh yeah, well how about this: I set up the plus, one of the 2300's, and an se in my Kitchen and bedroom, connected all in a local talk network so that no matter where I am, doing important business (and yes, there is a Plus in the bathroom) I am connected to whatever document I may need, or idea I my pull up from the depths of my brain. Sad enough, but it does get worse. In my rather sorry attempt to wow and woo co-workers to our side, I brought several to my home, and demonstrated the networking abilities. Never mind the inexpensive cost of the set up (and it is, I purchased all off ebay and garage sales), and how easy it is to connect a bunch of Macs together. No, that's not what left my co-workers speechless. What stunned them was a 41 year old single man tricking out his home with a ton of computers, all connected to each other, and for what purpose??? To get the next badge in the Geek Scouts? I decided to enroll in a writing class to expand my horizons and all that other happy crap. The really cool thing is I can take the class over the Web!
