I wpuld not recommend putting a bit of static bag inside your computer as the melting temperature would be too low, and the insulating properties for heat not too great. Best to get a bit of mylar, which is a hard plastic material known for its electrical insulating and thermal insulating properties. You may be able to pick some up in a model shop?
