I put a drive in my dock. Also didn't have a power cable, so I made one. Of the four wires, two are ground and one is +5 volts and the other +12v. As I recall, the two grounds are opposite corners of the square plug on the dock circuit board. The +5 and +12 volt wires go to the other two opposing corners. On the hard drive end, the four wires are all inline in one row. The outermost wire (to the outside edge of the drive's connector socket) is the +12v pin. The center two are grounds and the other end of the socket (nearest the 50 pin connector) is the +5v pin. You should be able to measure the voltages on the square socket on the top side of the duo dock and figure out which is +5 and ground, +12 and its ground. I am quite sure the two grounds are interchangeable, i.e. connected together. Sorry I can't be more exact but maybe this info will be useful anyway.
