I just hooked up my MCE Datashuttle to the PCI slot in my Pismo, my VST Firewire drive to the port in the back and started the Pismo with the option key depressed. The internal drive and the Firewire drive showed up as an option to boot from, but the PCMCIA drive was so where to be seen.
I always thought I could boot from the Datashuttle if need be, but I guess I was mistaken. At least I can boot from the Firewire drive if I need to.
