I have heard of this being done, try searching the archives about 6
months back, as far as I recall it involved removing a pin on the dock
connector, this then allowed the DUO to function as if it was
undocked, but still use all the dock's functions.
Sorry I cannot be more specific, but maybe someone else will recall
more.
