Hi Herb: If NASA is looking for old out of date computer stuff on eBay (see today's Sunday New York Times, first page lower right), you should look for the Duo RAM chips there too. They are specially made for the DUO, and resellers know they are hard to find and price them accordingly. Look for a parted out DUO, because when the screen goes on a DUO (I have a 280C one a child stepped on), it is not worth repairing the machine. I have 2 Duo 2300's one up to 48 and the other 56 (the maximum). 8 is built in. In one of my machines if it is jarred, the RAM chip jumps out of place, so sometimes you can find a RAM chip you didn't know was there. If you need info on getting to the ram chip, get back with me. You will need a torx screwdriver to do it. John Morgan
