Dear List,
I have a pair of Duo 230's that I keep plugged in, but do not use due to
very sticky keyboards. I tried starting them up yesterday to make sure they
were doing fine, but they didn't do so well. One gives a smile, only half a
startup chime, and then goes black. It repeated this behavior several times
over the course of an hour. The second Duo started up and ran just fine, but
then I pulled the power connector to see if it would run off the battery at
all. I got a really high-pitched whine which persisted after plugging it
back in. Then it would not start up again at all even after many tries. All
I get is a quick horizontal orange flash, but nothing else. Does anyone have
any suggestions?
Thanks,
Janice
