hi

I am having some trouble with my new to me 2400c
it most always fails to wake from sleep.
It still has the latch-lite flashing. and when I hit a key to wake it
screen lite up but nothing else... no desktop.

I can do Control Command Power...I get the startup chime -- screen
goes dark ---but no screen wake up. After attempting this restart a
few times and getting only chimes I give up

I can reset .with button on back.
then turn it on with the power button. then all is well
until it sleeps.

this happens on battery or A/C.

I had this issue with OS 9.1
and now with 9.0 (not upgraded yet) clean install

I have the original 8.0 disk for the 2400c and will try that if need be.

48 mg of ram , 3gb HD.
otherwise great machine.
Is this an issue... can I do something about it. change OS ?
I was wondering if an older energy saver might work better.

maybe OS 8.6?
well thanks in advance if anyone has ideas
