Help! I recently, with the help of a multimeter, determined that my brick is shot and since I have no working battery at this time, I have a dead PowerBook. Just to be sure, the two probes touch the tip and lower shank of the pin in the end of the adapter to test, or is it the shank and sleeve? The two pronger AC cord delivers plenty of voltage, so that is not the culprit. I have a battery at home with busted plastics that I can sorta shove in and hope that I at least get a click...
Any suggestions? Anyone got a spare brick? Scott Strungis -- GMX - Die Kommunikationsplattform im Internet. http://www.gmx.net ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
