(BTW this thread began in September '01...)

I was talking with one of the DT&T techs last week about repairs to an
ailing Wallstreet, and he happened to mention, in reference to Comets,
that it seemed to him that the two unused VRAM places on the 'boards
could be filled with no attendant problems, adding that the chips are
readily available. I encouraged him to look further into this and
indicated that quite a few of us owners would undoubtedly be interested.
Now he wants to know more about how many, in order to figure out what he
might charge.

The impression I got was that this would be an independent project for
him. Apparently some company recently approached DT&T with 40 Comets to
increase their VRAM.

Whatcha think? How many in NAmerica might want to send in their 2400c's
to have their VRAM upgraded? Please email me offlist with your educated
guesses, and I'll report the results back to the list.
