Got the Quicktime extensions, tried with and without the fw
extensions/enabler, which I think you're right is for Newer cards. No docs
with the card, I don't think it was ever tested w/mac, except by vendors,
like megamac.

Got a Cheetah 10k rpm external.

I just need it for capture, I wasn't planning on doing the editing on the
2400. I have a 330mhz G3 6100av w/136mb ram to edit with, but I'd like to
get the video in digitally, rather than use the s-video on the av card.

I just don't think this card is gonna work, the RATOC looks great but it
seems kind of expensive. Guess I'll be looking for recommendations for a new
card.
