Following the failed installation of scsi probe 5.2, how come it doesn't
work on the 2300c with OS8.6?

If I remember correctly, scsi manager 4.3 was introduced with Drive Setup
1.3.1. The OS 8.6 Drive Setup is 2.0.1 so you'd think scsi manager 4.3 would
be installed on the drive, and I made sure of this by running the app and
clicking on 'update driver'. And still, scsi probe 5.1 or 5.2 won't run
giving the message 'this version of scsi probe requires Apple SCSI Manager
4.3'.

Anybody knows why that is?

Thanks,

Francois Rossi
