Just had another Duo sighting. On the SiFi channel tonight is a movie
called The Burning Zone. The protagonist is a Duo toting doctor. Looks
like a 280 - but I'm not sure, they haven't given me much of a look at
it yet. : )

As to the flat batteries that have been mentioned recently - I had one
back in 95. I took a plane trip to Japan and wanted to be able to use
my 210 on the flight. So I picked up one of those batteries from Frys.
It worked quite well. I ended up returning it though. It didn't seem
worth the price at the time.

As to chargers. Many of apple's powerbooks (and I'm including the iBook
here) use the same adaptor connector. The duo power supplies (I don't
know about the 2400) use the same connector as the Mainstreet,
Wallstreet, Lombard, Pismo and the colorful iBooks. My yoyo style iBook
PS developed an issue so I'm using an old Duo adaptor. It works, but
there is not enough in the amp department to run the machine and charge
the battery, even with the 2300 adaptor. So to charge I have to sleep
the iBook.
