Hello again,

My AppleVision 1710AV to 2400c quandry has now worsened. I just
received an Apple to VGA adapter (which I paid $20 for) and it also does not
work. Same symptoms as before. This one even has all 15 pins. Both
screens remain black, sound plays through as well as ADB, and the monitor
light glows green. No luck with option - 3 or trashing preferences,
restarting, etc... Do I have a crap monitor? I have seen it work with my
LC III which leads me to believe I am missing some piece of software or have
a broken 2400c. I am going to try a smaller (14 inch) monitor that I have
before I give up. Drop me a response to let me know if you have gotten this
configuration (or one darned similar) going and what you did. My only other
thought is to try the POWERBOOK monitor adapter that my friend will be
receiving with his 'new' 3400c. But, I doubt this will work either.
Thanks.

Nick

P.S. Sorry about the rambling...I am pissed.
