I don't think you can use the 230 display fraqme for the 270c.  For one
thing, the screen size is different and so is the frame.  You could look to
eBay for an used 280c or one with broken screen.  280c is the same as 270c
with only the mobo being different.  I picked up an used but fully working
280c with 500MB HD for a measly $30.  It also came with a battery that was
labeled as dead but after I ran it through the charge/discharge repeatedly
I'm able to get almost 3 hours.  I guess it was dead only from lack of use
and not recharged enough for the seller to notice it isn't dead.
(transplanted a 28MB RAM module from my dead 280c to a working one and I'm
set until my 280c blows up.)
