I don't have a 2400, but I just installed it on my 466 SE iBook and 
it's working great.  I really like it.  The spell checker is amazing 
how much better it is.  Every thing seems to be a bit snapier.  This is 
prolly because the interface is all 3D now and is being rendered in 
hardware.  If you don't have 3D video in hardware it's prolly going to 
be very slow.

Just incase you missed what I just said there - yes the entire UI is 
now rendered in 3D - Apple is the first to do this - even SGI never did 
it.  This seems to be escaping most of the reviews too, but it's got to 
be one of the biggest deals about 10.2, and it's really what apple 
should switch their stupid switcher ads to:

"In 1984 we changed the world, we are doing it again..."
