I have one last question about network security on the Airport base stations. I am not a freak about security or anything, but this being my first time with a broadband connection, How secure would my connection be. If I used an airport base station connected directly to my dsl modem & then connected all of my powerbooks wirelessly from that, would they be reasonably secure from prying eyes? I had my credit card data stolen once & it was a major pain inn the ass to fix. I guess the question I am asking is this, would it be hard enough to break into my network that it would deter the casual thief, or would I be better off adding a firewall?
