I 'understand' battery cells can only be cycled a finite number of times before they begin to die. So presumably one would hopefully restore a battery to usability, but once the reconditioning returns start to diminish, I'd just put that battery into service and trust regular proper usage would do the rest.
BTW, those Lind superchargers are just a !super! item for Duo users. I followed the earlier tip of leaving a _dead_ type 3 in the charger for several days and to my complete astonishment, that confounded battery is now _usable_!! Cripey, it had a measured voltage before charging of something like .5 volts (one half a volt!!), now it's got a good solid normal voltage and what looks to be more than an hour of usage in a 2300 going full tilt. Wow! How'd they do that?!? That is all.
