    Format your disk using the Macintosh� Erase Disk option

On the menu bar, click Special.


Choose Erase Disk.


   Install the MacOS onto your Iomega disk

Insert the Macintosh installation CD into the CD-ROM drive on your computer.


If the CD does not automatically open, double-click the CD.


Double-click the installer icon.


Select the Iomega drive as the destination drive.

Perform a custom or minimum installation to a Zip disk.


When the installation has completed, click the Apple Menu.


Choose Control Panels.


Select Startup Disk.


Select the Iomega drive as the Startup Disk.


Close all windows.


Click Special.

Select Shut Down.

If the Zip drive automatically eject's from the drive when you restart be 
sure to reinsert the disk before the computer restarts.
