For tabbed AA NiMH cells, try a hobby shop or Radio Shack. I've bought packs with 8 or 10 2100 mah cells and they work great. A 9.6v has 8 cells and an 12v has 10 obviously. Price is usually on a par with buying individual cells of a similar capacity.
Another source is camcorder batteries, I just bought a 4300mah 6 volt pack with 10 2150 A cells for $20. hth, Dan K On 11/7/02 Judy & David Morris <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > >I have two batteries for my 230s.
