By the way, some time back I bought a WallStreet on ebay, for my niece. I
had the seller ship it to me, via FedEx, so that I could configure it
especially for my niece.

Alas, when I turned it on, no hard drive was present.

All I had to do was take the hard drive out, then put it back in. Reseating
it allowed it to work. It had no doubt gotten jiggled/manhandled in transit.

Unfortunately, I had some troubles in the whole operation. Not a drive that
wouldn't come off, but a keyboard that wouldn't quite go on with the same
ease it came off. 

Messing about with notebooks is no picnic. My sympathies....
