By the way, some time back I bought a WallStreet on ebay, for my niece. I had the seller ship it to me, via FedEx, so that I could configure it especially for my niece.
Alas, when I turned it on, no hard drive was present. All I had to do was take the hard drive out, then put it back in. Reseating it allowed it to work. It had no doubt gotten jiggled/manhandled in transit. Unfortunately, I had some troubles in the whole operation. Not a drive that wouldn't come off, but a keyboard that wouldn't quite go on with the same ease it came off. Messing about with notebooks is no picnic. My sympathies.... t ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net! A listserv for users and fans of Mac subportables.
