They may be building roads everywhere in your neck of the woods, but not here, but there are provisions for drawing in the program and saving it to your HD. I expect they are updating just as fast as the GPS manufactures do their software, but that isn't an issue with me. I just want to be able to find where I am and how to get back to where I started. On my last trip back from CA, I-80 was blocked with an accident that we (those of us stuck) were told by the State Patrol was going to take about three hours to clean up. My setup allowed me to drive off on small farm roads that are not on regular paper maps and get around the mess and keep on going, which really worked for me. > > Yes, but they're still building roads everywhere.
