Hi, let me jump into this discussion...

I recently got a 2300c after about 10 YEARS "doin' the Duo 210-280c shuffle" ; One 
thing I can say about it, sans any speed improvement, is that it sure is nice to run 
the same apps I use on my desktop PCI macs...!

Anyway, I run OS 7.6.1 on it. 

Do U think Speed Doubler 8 (which I recently ordered) will be much of speed 
improvement?
