Ah ok, so if we were able to get 2mb of VRAM on there would it be possible to have millions of colors?
Kind of. : ) Not only do you have to add an extra meg of VRAM, but you have to swap a few resistors around near the video controller to activate 24 bit mode. That is easy enough, but I havnt been able to translate the Japanese article enough to figure out exactly what gets swapped where.
