Is there any real difference (real world) that can be noticed from
upgrading from a 240Mhz 603 to a G3 CPU?
And is there any way to get the Duo to run faster, either by getting more
ram (what's the max amount allowed) or by upgrading something or chipping
the mobo or something? It's 100Mhz PPC CPU is just crawling with
7.6.1....maybe I can try and reinstall.

You can overclock the bus speed on the 2300 by changing the 33 MHz
oscillator to 36 or higher. I have done this a couple of time.
Changing to 36 MHz in turn increases the CPU speed to 108 MHz. NNot
sure if you can notice this, but it is an increase.
