The orinoco cards do NOT support WPA in hardware,regardless of whether or
not there is software available for WPA.

No, WPA is what WEP was supposed to be.  Apple didn't include WPA
support in their drivers until Panther, I think.  And the Orinoco
drivers don't support it.  I don't know that any OS 9 drivers do.
