Well, I think I'm going to have to sell my poor 2400 and its friends. Last
night it froze-up and wouldn't restart. All I get is a click from the
speaker. Dave Griffin told me that the daughtercard needs to be reseated.
I'm too afraid to try it though. I've seen the 2400 video that shows how
to take it apart.. way too much for me. I put the memory in a year ago,
without problems, but trying to get at the daughtercard looks like a
nightmare.

I'm not even certain that what Mr. Griffin told me applied to my problem.
But if it is, and you know how to fix it, this is your lucky day. ( my
warrenty ran out =( )

Here is what I have:

PowerBook 2400c
180mhz PowerPC 603ev
80 MB Ram (maxed unless you want to pay an arm and a leg to get the 96mb
module from MCE)
1.3 HD
external floppy drive
2 power supplies ( one for the road and one for home )
1 battery
WetSuit 3.0 (very cool)
Kensington bag ( small so it fits well, added air cushons and side padding
too )
Original 2400 Box with Apple Stickers and manuals
10baseT PCMCIA ethernet card ( dayna communicard )
StyleWrite II with cabel of course
24x External LaCie CD-ROM SCSI drive ( very sturdy )

I want to add some CDs to the deal too:
Civilization II CD
MechWarrior II CD
Warcraft II expansion CD
about a dozen MacAddict CD's from 1997
Chaos Overlords CD
Dark Forces CD
Indiana Jones CD
Myth TFL CD
Apple Dev Reference CD
Riven CD Set
CodeWarrior 5, 8, 10, Pro 1 ( 5 is the original 5, not the current Pro5 )

I'll even throw in a copy of my shareware CSM "Essential PowerBook Strip" (
a $5 value! =) )

There are no scratches on the powerbook, all the items I listed above work
fine, execpt the book itself of course. I'm not sure what to ask for my
powerbook, since it isn't working now but maybe one of you can take it in
and fix it.

the best offer gets it all.
