Hi list, I have a 1400cs with NewerTech 233MHz/6.4GB Hard drive/44MB RAM/56K PCMCIA modem. It has more speed than I ever needed on portable platform. My main machine (which I carry with me everywhere) is a 3400c/180, which is really fast enough for my needs. It's quite handful to carry, and my shoulder is begging me to get a lighter books (the 1400 is about the right weight for me but the drive doesn't support DMA which makes it useless for hard disk recording). I have 280c but it is too slow, it's my 'weekend' machine :) I'm thinking about trading my 1400/233 for a standard 2400c/180/1.3GB but with at least 64MB RAM. Do you think it's a fair trade? Do you guys/gals have any information regarding online store that except tradings for international costumer? I don't think I'll try the classified. It worries me too much that when I send my PowerBook away it will just disappear with nothing comes in return:) Albert Juwono Jakarta, Indonesia ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
