Though my 2400 died right after upgrading to 8.6...since I have it back (2
months now) it is very, very stable and a LOT cooler.
I think the simultaneous upgrade and CPU failure was pure coincidence and
not at all connected. My 2400 ran better and better with each OS upgrade. It
always had heat and wake up issues prior to the board being replaced.
I recommend 8.6.
