I just picked up a Bookendz docking station for my 2400c and was
disappointed to learn that it doesn't support SCSI mode when I cable
into my desktop. The Newer tech support person with whom I spoke said
this was because they use a 29-pin connection in the Bookendz, whereas
30-pins are needed for SCSI disk mode. Has anyone opened up one of
these things to determine what would be involved in installing a true
HDI-30 SCSI plug and making it SCSI disk mode-capable? Thanks, Gary
