Something about 8.6 causes the PRAM to become corrupted, at least on a
2300c. I have zapped PRAM more times than I can remember since installing
8.6 Sometimes it happens after a crash and other times it just happens
randomly, usually indicated by the sound going off for no reason. Mine has
been as likely to suffer this in the DuoDock as as undocked, so I do not
thing dock state is the issue. I am really growing weary of this particular
problem. Any solutions from anyone?
