No need to replace the Mini Dock. While never having had broken parts, I did
have a handle that somehow became misaligned and made separating it from the
Duo difficult, not to mention something rattling around inside which might
have caused significant damage. All you need is a T-6 screwdriver. The lid
easily comes off and it is all fairly self explanatory. Chances are, the arm
did not break, but simply became unseated (I haven't seen it so just a
guess). Mine is now reassembled and providing great service. If the PowerBook
Guy can't help, you might try Sun Remarketing, but I think they'll be more
expensive. Since miniDocks are rare, you're probably right about even a
"junker" being sold for top dollar on eBay.
