<<has anybody heard from mce about their 2400 cardbus hack attempts?>>

I was at MCE last week to upgrade my 2400c 's cpu and HD (they did it in 2
hours while I waited!) and had the chance to talk with Arnie for a short time
about cardbus. I am speaking for them officially as I have nothing to do with
them or their attempts at waking cardbus up in the 2400.
My understanding of what Arnie was saying is that they have now successfully
tested many different types of cardbus pc cards on the one or two 2400c s
they have that are cardbus capable (apparently, one of their machines --like
mine-- cannot be tweaked). The main issue, it seems, that is holding the
process up is stability. I'm not sure of the specifics of the stability issue
though.
I hope that helps.
