2300 has 9.5 inch TFT display, not good enough for resolution higher
than 640x480. If you do get the 2300, I think you'll enjoy the bigger
screen. Texts will be more readable, and less eye fatique of course. I
don't own 2300 but I use 540c for sometime in the past (it has the same
LCD as 2300). But I don't think it is much faster than 280c. So if speed
is your number one priority, the 2300c will dissapoint you, but if you
love the bigger screen than 2300 upgrade is perfectly make sense. BTW, I
own a 280c.
