Just a note, I used to have problems with my 2400c/180 freezing up after prolonged use, especially when surfing the Internet (using Netscape Navigator 4.04). And it never woke up after sleep -- mainly freezing in the process of waking. But that was when I used the modem (a GV 56Kbps V.90 PC Card). I now use ADSL (Bell Atlantic's) through an Ethernet PC card and switched off all components related to modem activities using the Extension Manager. So, it seems at least one of the modem related extensions may have been the culprit, in my case. Also note: I have Mac OS J1-8.1 installed, that is, it's a Japanese version, including Navigator. My PowerBook was built 38th week of 1997, bought in Japan Feb. '98, but now I'm back living in the States. Besides the heat, my 2400c/180 with 80MB RAM is just about flawless. ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net! A listserv for users and fans of Mac subportables.
