Hi everyone, I've been subscribing to this list for some time now, even
before I had a Duo. I have been wanting to get a new laptop for some time
now and have a question for all you Duo-experienced folk out there.

I would like to get opinions from 2300c owners on how they like their
machines, primarily in terms of (1) speed, and (2) overall user-friendliness
and convenience. Currently I have a 280c with not enough memory or hard
disk space (12MB and a 150MB hard drive), and feel it's about time to
upgrade to something better. My primary use laptop is a 540c but I don't
like lugging it back and forth to school; what I am thinking of doing is
purchasing a 2300c and an Ethernet dock of some sort. I really like the
small size of the Duos, and got my 280c hoping I could make it a primary use
school computer. However, memory is hard to find, or else I'd upgrade, and
I would like to get a PowerPC.

My main concern is that I would not be happy with the speed, or potential
lack thereof, with a 2300c. My primary desktop is a 6400/200 and I find
that to be even too slow sometimes.

Any advice? Should I give up on Duos and get an iBook or PB G3, or even a
2400? I would appreciate any feedback, and would appreciate it more if you
could send a copy of your response to [EMAIL PROTECTED] which I check more
often than my Hotmail account. Thanks in advance!
