The battery will charge when your Duo is plugged in or docked! So long as
you have a battery in it and it is seated well ( making contact ). If the
battery will not charge then it maynot be making contact or it maybe faulty.
If the printer is cross platform you should be able to use it! Does the duo
have an internal modem? You can use the printer port for an external modem!
Be sure to check the port settings. You can also use a port expander to use
the pronter port for a modem and a printer at the same time! As for the
cannon printer I have no Idea I would try to network it if it is not cross
platform, do you have another computer around to try that on?
You can download the Manuals from apple in PDF format although some of them
are quite large! I could send them to you as down loads but I have no Idea
if Juno does that!

paralell port to it- someone told me that there is a converter? Is that
true. And I would also like to get internet access on it, but don't have a
clue as to check the modem that is already on there to see if it still works
and not having a floppy drive don't know what I would need to put on the
Powerbook to then get access to the internet.
