I'll share my pet peeve with my GV PowerPort Platinum 33.6. I never use
the software but it is installed. My #1 main complaint is the dongle that
hangs from the modem. I use my 2400 on my lap a lot, while i'm on the net,
and at least twice per session my dongle falls out and i lose my connection
to the internet.

What I need is a PCMCIA modem without a dongle. I like the kind where the
phone line plugs into a connector on the modem.

Ideas?
