The Dock II has a 68882 FPU on the motherboard while the Dock Plus has
none. This FPU works only with the 68030 processor in the older Duo
210, 230, and 250 (the 270 has its own FPU). The 68882 FPU won't work
with the 68LC040 in the 280c, and the PPC 603e in the 2300c.
The motherboard does have Dock II in both cases, but the Dock PLUS
doesn't have the FPU and has more VRAM.
I've read that some Dock IIs won't work with the 2300c, but I haven't
had first hand experience with this.
